I finally finished the last Harry Potter book about two days ago and I can finally say that everyone lived happily ever after except for the characters Rowling killed off (Mad Eye, Hedwig, Lupin, Tonks, Snape, George or Fred I really don't know which one). Those were some of my favourite (Look Alyssa! i'm british!) characters! I felt Snape deserved a more honourable (is that a word?) death. At first, I didn't really care that he died but when I read the following chapter (The Prince's Tale), I had to put down the book to mourn for Snape. I mean an one-sided love, the love of your life dieing, looking after a bratty kid (I don't care if he is the boy that lived) who reminded you of a bully, and putting your a** in a dangerous situation by reporting back to Dumbledore even though Tommy (Lord Voldermort) could kill you if you find out. Hey, I think he deserves more credit! He should have at least lived to see the downfall of Tommy.
I was also looking forward to Ginny dieing, BUT SHE DIDN'T! CURSES! FOILED AGAIN!!!!!! Anyway I have created the perfect life partner for Larry (oopps i mean Harry):
NUMBER ONE
*he's taller than Harry
NUMBER TWO
* he's the I-didn't know-you-were-gay-because-you-act-so-manly-type
NUMBER THREE
*he's a brunette, with bulging muscles (since Harry seems to have none) and green eyes, no glasses
NUMBER FOUR
* He's on top (duh)
Yeah that seems right. The perfect life partner for Harry.
Speaking of Tommy, the final battle was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooo lame! She built it up and then what do we get? A load of crappy clicheness! Argh!! Yeah, the encounter with Dumbledore in Harry's mind when Harry thought he was dead is what I'm talking about. Where have I seen that before? Oh, I don't know. Just about everywhere!! Then Tommy was killed off so easily. They were afraid of that? He was taken out by his own spell! Harry did nothing yet everyone parties like he fought some courageous long battle! I was sorely disapointed. Poor Tommy! Everyone's going to tease him in hell about being taken out by a wimpy, 17 year old that doesn't have enough sense to get contacts. Like I say again poor Tommy! Poor, poor, poor, poor, poor, poor, poor, poor, Tommy.
Yes, I read the epilouge which was also lame. LAME, LAME, LAME!
